MyWorkoutGuru is an AI-powered fitness companion application that provides personalised workout guidance, programme generation, and coaching conversations. The Service uses artificial intelligence to deliver responses based on information you provide about your fitness goals, equipment, injuries, and training history.

The AI responses are generated by third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude) and are provided for informational and motivational purposes only.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• All workout advice, programme recommendations, and coaching responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your individual circumstances.
• AI-generated fitness advice does not constitute professional personal training, medical advice, physiotherapy, or any other regulated health service.
• You are solely responsible for assessing whether any AI-generated advice is appropriate for your individual health and fitness level.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for your specific situation.

4. Health and Fitness Disclaimer

Exercise carries inherent risks. By using MyWorkoutGuru you acknowledge that:

• Physical exercise, including exercises recommended by MyWorkoutGuru, can result in physical injury.
• You are physically capable of participating in the exercises and activities suggested by the Service.
• You have consulted with a physician prior to beginning any exercise programme if you have any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns.
• MyWorkoutGuru is not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse health outcome resulting from following AI-generated workout advice.
• Information you provide about injuries and health conditions is used to personalise AI responses but does not constitute a medical assessment.

5. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are being used inappropriately.

6. Health Data and Sensitive Information

MyWorkoutGuru collects and processes health-related information including but not limited to injury history, health conditions, body weight, and fitness metrics. You acknowledge that:

• You consent to the collection and processing of this health data for the purpose of personalising AI-generated fitness guidance.
• This data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure and processed by Anthropic's AI models to generate personalised responses.
• You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
• We do not sell your health data to third parties.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MyWorkoutGuru and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyWorkoutGuru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to physical injury, loss of data, loss of profits, or any other damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
